I'M SHAVING MY HEAD AND DONATING MY HAIR!

After many years of talking about it, I'm FINALLY shaving my head on Saturday 5th November ! For reasons I can't fully explain, I've always wanted to shave my head and understand how it feels. It never seemed like a rational thing to do, until it was suggested that I shave my head for a good cause - and then I didn't have an excuse not to!

I'm supporting two amazing charities. Firstly, Child Cancer Foundation supports families of children with cancer so they can concentrate on the most important thing of all; loving and caring for their child. Support at such a challenging time is so essential for these families, and it's a charity that means a lot to my husband's family. Secondly, Look Good Feel Better supports individuals with cancer to look and feel more like their normal selves, connect and take time for them. What could be better, when you're at your lowest, than to be made to feel your best?

Additionally, I'm going to be donating all 12+ inches of my hair to Sustainable Salons, the largest charitable collector of ponytails in the WORLD. All my locks will go to charitable organisations and wigmakers to change the lives of those suffering from medically-induced hair loss. I'm so happy my hair can contribute to a wig for someone else who needs it more than me.. A wig-wig!

Life is expensive and your hard earned pennies are so precious, but if you have a few quid or dollars to spare, I would be eternally grateful 💜
