The Hawke's Bay Knowledge Bank is making the history of the province easily accessible in digital format for generations to come. It is preserving this history at various points in the country, ensuring the history remains the property of the people. Thus thousands of images, film, documents and narratives will be available to homes, schools, researchers, historians and the general public as a voluntary community service.
