We support a network of Kagyu Choeyang Ling Buddhist centres so that the wisdom of the Kagyu meditation masters is accessible to all.

We provide support to Kagyu Buddhist centres in New Zealand, with a primary focus on the Kagyu Choeyang Ling Centres. This is essential for their long-term stability and prosperity. We wish for the people of New Zealand to have access to the most profound wisdom and mind training methods of the great meditators of past centuries.
Our decisions are taken by an experienced group of trustees under the guidance of Venerable Lama Assi, a respected Buddhist teacher endorsed by the the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, the head of the nine hundred year-old Karma Kagyu lineage.
Currently Kagyu Choeyang Ling centres exist in Nelson and in Christchurch. Donations received are use to support both centres as required. If you wish to make a donation to a particular centre, please add a note when making the donation.
