100km Piha run for the Children.
Auckland
Event date: 1st July 8pm - 2nd July 12pm.
This year I want to help make a change in our west Auckland community.
I will be running 100km on Piha beach to help raise find and awareness for the children who are In need of support in our local community.
The reason for doing such a big event is that I hope it gets people talking about this issue and helps motivate people to get amongst it and get after it to go better themselves.
All money donated will be going towards the children in need to give them some basic stationary which will help the children get a better education, also a few more goodies.
Please help get behind this cause and jump in for a run or drive on the beach and show support where you can.
Much Love,
Harry!
Thanks to Justin & Jen Cherry (Back2school project) and Jase, Sami and the Asics NZ team.
Support underprivileged children of West Auckland get a better education.
Funds will be donated to the Back2school project.
Thank you! 3 July 2023
Hi all,
I just want to thank you all for your support and contributions to the event.
The event itself wasn't a success in terms of completing the 100km. I reached 66km in just over 12 hours and Albie had a pre-existing sickness which caused him to stop at 30ish km, which was a bloody Superhero effort.
However, we managed to battle through the night in a storm on a west coast beach whilst running through black sand with some mates while raising awareness, creating conversation and raising money for the underprivileged children of West Auckland.
Thank you all for following the journey, and you best believe this isn't the end. I will be back later in the year with another event to keep this conversation going to help the future generation, and Albie is always looking to help better the lives of others too.
Ngā mini nui and much love to you all.
