Sassykatz back on winning form and taking out first place and Grand Champs for Level 2 Seniors at nationwide comp in Auckland this w/e. A great performance which didn't show two of the team had been delayed by flight cancellation AND an accident on the Harbour bridge slowing things down. They literally arrived within 5 mins of going on stage! True Champs 🏆

Competing against clubs from throughout NZ, Sassykatz gave it everything on stage yesterday! As a result they not only came first in their Level 2 division (out of 5) but also scooped the Grand Slam title for the kevel (out of 13).
Thanks to everyone who's contributed to Emily's Cheer Sport passion. She and her team Sassykats had their first competition last night in Christchurch and won Best Performance as well as Best Dance! Not bad for a troupe who lost 2 of the team with 24 hours to go (Covid and broken ankle from netball).
