Tawh's road to the 2024 Olympic qualifiers
Auckland
Kia Orana/Kia Ora, after narrowly missing out on securing my spot to the Paris Olympics in last years qualifying event I now have the chance to rewrite that narrative in my journey. I have been selected for a second chance and will represent the Cook Islands at the world Olympic qualifiers held in Milan, Italy in February/March of this year.
As special of an opportunity this is, it comes with a cost. Unfortunately this occasion is not supported with funds by the National Olympic committee and will be a self funded trip. So here I am seeking support so that I can put my best foot forward to represent our little nation on the world stage and qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games!
Opportunities and chances like this don't come around very often and with it possibly being the last time boxing appears in the Olympics, I will ensure I do whatever it takes to get there and put on for our nation and my cultures. So any awhi(help) big, small and messages mean the world to me.
Ngā mihi/Metaki maata,
Tawh
