Join us in raising $24,000 to support a new mentor coordinator in 2024! At Big Brothers Big Sisters Auckland, we believe in the power of mentorship to change young lives, and with your help, we can make a significant impact on our community.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Auckland: We are a transformative mentoring organization dedicated to creating positive relationships for vulnerable Auckland children. We match 6 to 12 year-olds with a stable and caring adult who will ignite their potential and create positive and lasting change in their lives. One Hour. Once a Week. One Life.
With over 100 children on our waitlist, we are committed to increasing our capability and addressing the need for mentors. As a small team, we urgently need donations to hire another Mentor Coordinator, like our dedicated Leonie, who is currently at full capacity managing our existing matches. The critical time spent to coordinate each match comes at a cost, and with each donation, we can uplift and support a child’s life with mentoring.

Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programme provides a safe and supportive space to foster a sense of belonging and self-worth, and the opportunity for our young people to unlock their potential; creating more fulfilled and connected communities.

Each dollar raised during this campaign will directly fund the recruitment, training, and support of mentors who will be matched with children in need of guidance, encouragement, and a positive role model in their life

Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank you. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible generosity you have shown in supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) 24K for 2024 campaign. Thanks to your donations, we are one step closer to making a significant difference in the lives of many young people in our community.
Every contribution, big or small, will support us to hire another mentor coordinator to create and sustain life-changing mentoring relationships for vulnerable youth. These relationships provide guidance, support, and the encouragement that can set a young person on the path to success.
Exciting News: BBBS Big Auction in September
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming event—the BBBS Big Auction! Scheduled for September 12th, this auction (separate to the Givealittle page) will feature a variety of exciting items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters. All proceeds will go towards our 24K for 2024 goal and provide the mentorship that our waitlisted young people deserve.
