Fuel The Hog Squad's Journey to the 24th Scout Jamboree
Hog Squad is raising $52k to send 28 local Scouts to the 2026 NZ Jamboree, easing costs for families and volunteer leaders.

The Hog Squad unites Oratia Air Scouts and Glen Eden Scouts. We need $52,500 to send 21 rangatahi (ages 11–14.5), 3 venturer leads, and 6 adult volunteer Leaders to Mystery Creek Events Centre, Hamilton, for the 24th New Zealand Scout Jamboree (28 Dec 2026–7 Jan 2027) — a once-in-a-lifetime week of adventure, learning, and friendship.
* Without community support, families pay up to $2,500 per child.
* Leaders volunteer two weeks of leave and must currently self-fund travel and camp fees.
* Jamboree happens only once every 3 years, so missing this window can mean aging out before the next one.

Use of funds
NZ Jamboree registration, coach transport, food, equipment, emergency contingencies, and Leader sponsorship so volunteers are not out of pocket.
