To help raise as much money for Liam Paroli's fight against cancer
Wellington
Some of you may know about the boy's leadership group, Manukura GPS at Otaki College. One of our major principles/kaupapa has always been to help others and serve our community. An example of this is last year as a group we ran a fundraiser world record attempt which raised $15,000 for the Mental health foundation. This year we are now looking to support the Paroli family in their time of need as their son Liam has recently been diagnosed with soft tissue cancer and must complete 64 weeks of chemotherapy at Auckland hospital. The Mum, Andy has had to leave work in order to be there at this time so the whanau have lost half of their household income and are in need of as much support as possible. Over the weekend of 17th-18th of July in our college gym our Manukura GPS crew will be completing 40 hours of footy in the hopes of raising as much money as possible for Liam and his ongoing treatment.
We are a local boys leadership group who are wishing to support a deserving whanau who are in need, within our small community.
Funds will be used to help with Liam and his need to travel from Otaki to Auckland for regular treatment
