We're hosting the first women's world record four stand shearing team in 40 years.

'40 over 400' is the first Women's World Team Shearing Record attempt in 40 years.

On 23 January four young NZ women shearers will set a four stand- nine hour - ultra marathon shearing lambs from 5am until 5pm at Waihi Pukawa Station, near Turangi.

Set the standards for the next generation of women shearers.

Use of funds

For the costs of feeding 50 volunteers $2000, hire-age of equipment $2000, and misc advertising and signage of $1000 to host this one day world record event. If we exceed the target we will donate the surplus to 'Forward Foundation' (Girls in sport).
