    Wow what a weekend!

    Now that we’ve had time to recover and reflect on our journey, I’m pleased to say we made it through the National Competition placing first in the 40 Womens grade!

    So much talent at this level we were so blessed to be a part of it.

    Even more encouraging was the start of a 45 womens grade which is amazing for women’s sport so cheers to all the trail blazers that made that happen.

    Well I guess we got a nice week off as Champions and next week we’ll be back into it again.

    Thanks again to everyone who supported us, for all the wonderful feedback and aroha we have received.

    Onwards. Upwards.

    Thanks everyone for the support! This weekend we attended our first NZ training camp with the whole team. Thankfully we both survived and as a bonus, the weather held out (most of the time!)

    We've decided to extend the page by another month to give us a bit more time to sort our shit out and plan for the next phase. We have a few more updates and photos to upload so bear with us please as things are a little hectic at the moment.

    Oooh it's been a while but rest assured we're still working away in the background!

    Training for Nationals has ramped up and module games have started so we're basically playing sport 3 times a week, plus training once or twice a week....no wonder I'm tired!!

    That said, I suffered an injury last week....(pause for dramatic response)... Only minor, but enough to miss a whole week of training. It's funny how much more you want to get out there and do something when the option is taken away from you. I also said a final goodbye to a dear friend which made life challenging for a time - that's life though right? Just pick yourself up and go again.

    Onward and upward, we're looking forward to a new week and maybe we even drop a couple of videos of our antics :)
