Help Lincoln fight SMA
Our 2 year old has been diagnosed with SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). Treatment is not available in NZ. Help us to get him to where it is.

Our 2 year old son Lincoln has been diagnosed with SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). This disease affects his ability to walk due to muscle wasting ending in a wheelchair. Treatment for his disease isn't available in NZ due to the high costs, but is available in the USA and other European countries.

Lincoln is our son. Getting treatment for him is our goal.
Use of funds
We intend to spend funds raised on getting Lincoln to where the treatment for SMA is available. Also any medical expenses, and help with financial strain when time is needed to be taken off work due to the disease.
The treatment would require a four week stay at a treatment facility followed by monthly visits as required.
