Jamie climbs Mt Eden to honour Tāmaki Makaurau and support our frontline workers through Heart Place Hospital
Mount Eden, Auckland
Hello everyone,
My name is Jamie and, on March 14, I am taking on a big challenge: running and up down Maungawhau (Mt Eden) 50 times in one mission.
I am doing this to acknowledge not only the mountain and all this lovely city of Auckland has given me, but to show support for our frontline workers in health, education, and family systems - the people, who I believe, consistently climb the toughest hills and face the biggest challenges in their daily work.
I am proud to be raising funds for Heart Place Hospital, a New Zealand charity dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of frontline workers and their families. When our frontline workers are healthy, grounded, and supported, this strength and stability ripples out and impacts our whole society.
Any donation is appreciated and helps me turn this challenge into practical support for the whole community.
Event will take place on 14 March 2026, but donations are open from today until 31 March.
Thank you so much for the support!
Jamie
Funds will go directly to Heart Place Hospital to support wellbeing programs, resources, and practical care for frontline workers and their families, helping them stay strong, grounded, and supported.
Thank you so much! 7 April 2026
Thanks to your generosity at our Give a Little Event, every dollar raised is creating real impact: supporting visitors to receive the bespoke care they need, funding vital sessions for carers, championing care in our community, mentoring health and education businesses, and providing essential supplies. Your kindness fuels wellness, growth, and hope where it matters most.
With love,
Jacqui & Jamie
