    Hello team,

This is just a quick update to let you know that up to $6k in donations has been given out to more than 40 families in Tonga.

I will create another updated post in a few days to let you know how we identified the families that were mostly affected by the Tsunami that hit the mainland.

We can't help everyone but the families we have helped are sincerely grateful thanks to you.

I will be in touch again over the next few days.

    Kind regards,

    T

  • Money received from give a little and sent to Tonga

      30 March 2022

Money has now been received and sent to a reliable source in Tonga minus the give a little admin fees.

The funds will be divided up equally and distributed to 25 - 30 families. I will follow up with the process until it's completed.

We will do our best to get some photos but also respect the families privacy.

Tonga is still in lockdown but we will do our very best to get the money out to the families as soon as possible.

Thank you sincerely for all your generous donations and words of kindness for Tonga. We appreciate you and your support.

Malo aupito and have an amazing year ahead. 2022 is yours!

If you have any questions about the process please don't hesitate to ask.

    Much love!

    I hope all is well.

Thank you once again for your generous donations and support for Tonga.

Give a little will release the funds a couple of weeks from now.

We can't help everyone in Tonga but your kind donation will help between 25-30 families in Tonga and I sincerely thank you for that.

I'll keep you all in the loop.

    Much love,

    T

    65km Highlights - I LOVED IT!

First, I would like to acknowledge all those supporters who messaged me kind words and advice, donated to the 'Give a Little' page, and those who literally and unexpectedly showed up throughout the 65km journey to join me along the way!

These people are, Marathon runners, Tim Banks, Michael Koloi, Chris Eric and Iron Woman, Christina Chaston, for the amazing advice based on experience.

Va'a Inu and Saimon Lomaloma big ups for running 22km with me. Malo Aupito to Terry and Talanoa Kitekei'aho and Cameron Ross for running 6km and Daniel Parker for running 5km.

Tony Moetaua, Richard Hendersen, Chris Harvey and my partner, Persefoni, appreciate the hydration, lollies and ongoing support at the final 10km stretch.

A special mention to Mark Hampton, who ran alongside me for 30kms. Without prompting, Mark went out of his way waking and driving to find me at 5:45am. His coaching and valuable advice kept me accountable, realistic and helped me go the extra mile without burning out.

Whilst completing this challenge, Diana Chan and Tony Moetaua dropped off some much needed an appreciated fuel, bath salts and muscle creams.

Thank you to my beautiful partner for letting me off the hook from changing diapers for 14 hours while I was away, hehe, and for the recovery massages.

As you all know, I attempted to run 65km but took a safer approach and broke it up into intervals instead with the advice from an expert ultra runner. The only time I stopped moving, was when nature called x 1 or for a quick photo or food break.

We now have the option to send the money directly to a reliable source in Tonga so they can purchase exactly what affected families need.

Thank you sincerely for your generous donations. If you would like to donate our give a little page closes next Friday, 18th February (LINK IN BIO).

It feels humbling to know so many of you have my back and there is no better feeling than giving to people who really need it.

Also, I enjoyed every moment and can't wait to do it again for myself to beat my time!

    Bless.
