A long awaited update
22 August 2025Apologies for the delay in sharing news. Axl has now bravely come through two major, life-saving surgeries. His courage through everything has been nothing short of inspiring — he is truly our hero. While he still has a journey ahead and life brings daily challenges, we remain hopeful and so proud of his strength.
As a family, this experience has been life-changing. Caring for Axl full-time has reminded us of the depth of love, resilience, and unity we share. We are holding on to the positives, celebrating every step forward, and believing in brighter days ahead.
Mike and Lisa extend their deepest gratitude for the kindness, encouragement, and support from so many — it has meant the world and has helped us keep going.
