Every contribution. No matter how small is not just financial help it’s a reminder that I am not alone that my story matters and love.
Auckland
My name is Linda Kulu. l was born in the Democratic
Republic of Congo.
From the very beginning of my life I have faced challenges that many people cannot see but always there. I was born with fibromyalgia, congenital cerebral palsy and developmental delay conditions that have brought chronic pain difficult days and moments of deep isolation.
There were times when I felt like life was moving forward without me. Times when the pain was not just physical, but emotional too. Even when I received treatment and began to feel better, the journey has never been easy. As I grew older, reminding me that this is a battle I continue to fight every day.
But in the middle of this… something beautiful happened… I found love.
I found the love of my life, someone who sees me beyond my pain, who stands with me, supports me, and reminds me that I am worthy of joy, of partnership, and of the future.
For the first time, I am not just surviving… I am dreaming again.
We are now preparing to get married a moment I once thought might never come.
This wedding is more than a celebration, it is a testimony of hope, resilience and love that refused to give up. It is a proof that even through pain life can bring something beautiful.
However, my journey also comes with financial challenges. Managing my health conditions and preparing for this new chapter in life has become overwhelming.
This money will be spent on my travel costs to Uganda.
