A Mother's Miracle & Ultimate Sacrifice...... Stage 3 , grade 3 Breast cancer 🎀 now Stage 4 Breast Cancer.Sister given months to Live.

I created this page on behalf of my Beautiful sister Zivana Tawhai, who is Battling Stage 4 Breast Cancer.Metastic Disease.
Our Goal as a whanau is to help support our sista thru this incredibly difficult Time,To help ease the financial pressure of daily living costs & ongoing care.
In April 2025, Zivana was told joyful news,
She was gonna be a Mama again. Baby No.8
As a Devoted & Loving Mother She was blessed with another pepi.
In Sep 2025, vana was wrongfully treated for Mastitis,4 wks of antibiotics, After a biopsy,Doctor's found she had Stage3,Grade 3 breast cancer.
She had a hard decision to make?
1.Terminate her Pregnancy at 20 wks to start Chemo Or
2.Carry Baby as long as possible,Then start Chemo.
Without Hesitation she chose to save her Baby.
On Jan 20Th 2026 Baby Dianne Rhythm Harmony Hori was born at 34 wks premature.
She spent her 1st few weeks at(Scbu)special care Baby unit.Now Baby Hori is Home,Healthy,Strong,& Deeply Loved.
In April 2026 Vana had multiple surgeries including Mastectomy,Tram flap reconstruction & Lymph node removal.20 Tumors removed.
On May 12Th 2026 after further scans,she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastic Breast cancer.Now she is on a Trial Drug called TDXD to slow the Tumor growth. she continues to fight with incredible strength for more time with Her Loved ones.
As a Whanau we are humbly asking for any Koha (Gift) Big or small to help lessen those financial burdens.We Thankyou from the bottom of our Hearts.

My name is Carolyn Withers.I am her Older Sister.Zivana Tawhai is 6 years younger than me.
Our Mother Lesley Karauna remarried.My Sisters
Father is Russell Tawhai who helped raise me.
We have the same Mom different Dad's.
Use of funds
The money raised will go towards those monthly / Weekly living expenses , to help lessen my sister and her partners worries of feeding the kids,paying the bills,ensuring kids dont miss out on things.to help with extra clothing for all the growing kids etc.

Sista vana is now Married to the Love of her Life.
Im so Happy for her.....xoxox
Sista Zivana continues with her Chemotherapy, every 3 weeks,Her strength and determination to Live for her Babies is absolutely amazing.
She is now a Proud Nanny to her First Grandchild (Mokopuna).
The medicine she is taking has given her more Time..... So Grateful.
