It's mom's turn to be a cancer warrior now

In 2020 our one twin son was diagnosed with leukaemia which he fought and won in 2022. He was a true inspiration.

During this time Liz decided to retrain and become a nurse to give back to the community that supported us through it all.

Now 3 years on, Liz qualified in 2024 and sadly we have received the devastating news that Liz has been diagnosed with breast cancer and needs to undergo multiple surgeries, radiation and possibly chemo. This news at Christmas time is extremely tough. Liz absolutely lives for her family and always puts everyone's needs before her own.

This has come at a terrible time with Liz having just started a new nursing role in our community so has no annual leave or sick leave and this means she would have to work as much as she can through treatment as we have bills to pay.

Liz does so much for anyone and everyone, she cares deeply and has always cared for everyone else no matter the hard times faced.

We need her to focus on getting well without having to worry about the loss of work days. So we are reaching out to the community for some aroha and support during this very stressful time.
