Walkfree Children's Foundation is an organisation educating children in Masaka, Uganda. Their collective aim is to provide education and the arts to their students as an empowerment tool against the hardships they face while giving them a brighter future.
So what are we trying to do?
I am working with them to collectively raise $28,000USD to build a house for their kids who are living on the streets. Although they love to attend school, they are sometimes faced with choices that steer them away, and their housing situation is one of them. However, this project would not only provide shelter but also ensure access to basic amenities such as clean water, food, electricity, and feminine hygiene products, while also covering school fees to support children’s education
We are aiming to first provide shelter and school fees to their students, and with more funding, we will be opening our doors to more.
My goal is to reach $5,000NZD as a contribution within the next few months, and with your help, nothing is impossible. Anything helps. Anything counts. No donation is too small, and all donations are appreciated. Help us create "A Place They Call Home."
**All funds raised will be transferred to Walkfree Children's Foundation based in Uganda, to support their cause. I will personally handle the transfer via Wise and provide proof of payment once completed upon request.**
Walfree Children's Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Masaka, Uganda. I am working with them to provide as much funding as I can to help with their vision and make it a reality.
Creating "A Place They Call Home" for at least 17 abandoned students who live independently on the streets. With a proper living situation, they will continue to attend school, learn and have fun! This home will provide amenities, protection and care.
