The children of Te Anau School need a meeting space to be proud of, where they can celebrate achievement, play sport and perform.

We are building a new hall because we have outgrown our one and we are planning for future roll growth. We would like our children to have a meeting place which they are proud of, where they can celebrate achievement, play sport and perform in front of their peers, family and friends.

• Our school roll has risen significantly over recent years. It was 200 at the end of 2014 and 298 at the end of 2020. We will be over 300 at the end of 2021

• Our hall is unfortunately unable to house all of our children, family and visitors. The current occupancy limit is 187.

• Our existing hall needs a major upgrade. It has water damage and is expensive to heat and maintain.
