A Second Chance at Healing: Help Nikki’s Mum ❤

Our dear friend and colleague, Nikki Alexis Pauline Bailey, is facing another heartbreaking time as her mum, Josephine Bailey, battles stage 3 colon cancer in the Philippines.

Following her previous surgery and diagnosis, Josephine recently developed bleeding that required another emergency operation lasting almost 12 hours. Complications required vascular and urology surgeons to assist the surgical teams, followed by another emergency procedure. A total of 14 doctors are now involved in her care.

Josephine spent two weeks in the ICU, needing a ventilator for five days to support her breathing. Thankfully, she has now been transferred to a private hospital room, a hopeful step in her recovery. However, she still needs ongoing treatment and close medical care.

Living and working in New Zealand, Nikki is facing an enormous emotional and financial burden as she supports her mum. Growing hospital bills, doctors’ fees, medications, and cancer treatment costs have placed further strain on her family.
