A Step Closer To Cam's Comeback

In August 2023, Cam Swindlehurst’s life took an unexpected turn when he had a motocross accident, resulting in a spinal cord injury at the L1 vertebra. Since the accident, Cam has faced immense challenges, but his determination and resilience have been inspirational. He has regained movement in his left leg, but his right leg still requires a support brace, crutches, and at times a wheelchair..   Cam’s focus is on reclaiming his life and continuing to smash every goal he sets for himself. Recently, we visited Neuro Muscular Orthotics, where we discovered a custom-fitted brace that could be a true game changer. The difference was immediate. However, this life-changing equipment comes at a cost. For the past seven months, Cam has been personally funding his intensive treatment at Next Steps in Mount Maunganui, working tirelessly toward recovery.
