Supporting a powerful Rotorua stage production celebrating community, identity, resilience, music, and storytelling
Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
8 Scott Ave is more than a stage production. It is a powerful local story built from memory, identity, humor, music, struggle, resilience, and the kind of people many of us grew up beside.
In a time where life feels increasingly heavy, fast, and disconnected, this production aims to bring people back together through storytelling that feels real, familiar, and deeply human. It is about laughter, tears, whānau, survival, culture, and the moments that shape communities from one generation to the next.
This is a Rotorua-grown production created to showcase local talent, create opportunities for performers and rangatahi, and preserve stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and remembered. The vision behind 8 Scott Ave is not just to entertain people for one night, but to create an experience audiences carry with them long after the curtain closes.
Your support will help bring this production to life through venue hire, staging, lighting, sound, costumes, set design, rehearsals, marketing, and overall production costs. Every contribution, big or small, helps strengthen community storytelling and supports a project designed to uplift, inspire, and connect people through live theatre.
We believe stories still matter.
And this is one worth telling.
