A village for Stevie
Supporting Stevie, a mum of five, as she undergoes breast cancer surgery and chemotherapy.

Stevie is just 35 years old and was recently diagnosed with breast cancer in her left breast after discovering a lump. The past few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster for her and for everyone who loves her. Life can change in an instant, and nothing truly prepares a family for news like this.
Stevie is a devoted mum to five beautiful daughters in our blended family — her world revolves around them. Before her diagnosis, she worked part-time to help support the household while always being there for the girls. She is now unable to work as she prepares for surgery to remove her breast, followed by chemotherapy.
At this stage, Stevie’s biggest wish is to also have her second breast removed. Living with the constant fear that cancer could return is overwhelming, and this decision is about peace of mind, healing, and giving her the best possible chance to focus on recovery and her future with her family.
Josh runs a small business and is doing everything he can to support Stevie through treatment while caring for all five girls. With rising living costs, medical expenses, and the loss of Stevie’s income, the financial pressure is immense.
This page has been created to help ease that burden — supporting Stevie and Josh with everyday costs and medical expenses so they can focus on what truly matters: Stevie’s health and their family. Any support, big or small, means more than words can express.

Use of funds
Funds will go toward a second private preventative mastectomy, and unfunded medical costs (a Page Update will be posted once these have been confirmed), supporting the family with living costs while they’re unable to work

We now have a clearer picture of what lies ahead.
Stevie will be undergoing 12 weekly rounds of Taxol chemotherapy, followed by 4 rounds of AC (often called “the red devil”) given fortnightly. After chemotherapy, she will begin 5 weeks of daily radiation therapy.
Surgery is also part of the journey ahead. This will include reconstructive surgery on the breast that has already had surgery, as well as a unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction of the non-cancerous breast to significantly reduce the risk of cancer returning in the future. We are praying that, with the funds raised, we will be able to move forward with having this second breast removed as part of her preventative treatment plan.
Following this, she will need monthly injections and 10 years of hormone-blocking medication.
Today marked her very first day of chemotherapy a big and emotional milestone. We know this road will be long and challenging, but she is facing it with strength and determination.
The incredible support so far is helping ease the financial pressure on the family, covering overheads and allowing them to focus on what truly matters right now — her health and the girls. We are beyond grateful for every message, prayer, and donation. It truly means more than words can say 🤍
