The Ellerslie Parish Car Park Appeal: Paving a safe welcome mat for our Church and school

For over 30 years, the car park at the Parish of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Ellerslie, has welcomed thousands of faithful families, school children, and visitors. It is the very first step people take when they come to meet Christ—whether for Sunday Mass, daily Mass, a wedding, a funeral, or the daily school drop-off.

With heavy use and multiple "band-aid" repairs over many years, our car park has reached the end of its life. The surface is uneven, crumbling, and becoming a safety hazard. We share this space daily with the families of St Mary’s School, meaning hundreds of children navigate these hazards every morning and afternoon.

We aren't just pouring asphalt; we are stewarding the assets that were gifted to us by previous generations, ensuring they last for the next 30 years.

Our Goal: We are aiming to raise $75000 to completely replace the entire car park.

All donations qualify for Donation Tax Credits (rebate) of 33%.
