Raising funds to record an album of action songs and rhymes for young tamariki in Aotearoa
Nationwide
The Twinkle Foundation is a collective of Suzuki teachers in Aotearoa who teach an educational music programme for 0-3 year olds and their parents. The foundation is a charitable trust which aims to provide support for its teacher and whānau members alike.
The Twinkle Foundation is raising funds to produce a recording of the action songs and rhymes we use in class. This is an important resource for our whānau and teachers. The recording will be freely available and accessible for ALL whānau across Aotearoa.
The Twinkle Foundation follows the philosophy of Dr Suzuki and the concepts of DEIAB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging). Our programme aims to create an environment for young children and their parents free from pressure in which they can gain skills in music, English, and te reo Māori, a sense of purpose in life, an understanding of discipline and an appreciation of beauty.
The album will cost about $15k to record. The costs will cover studio time, a sound engineer and the fees for the numerous artists involved.

We have been able to collaborate with Grow with Music in Perth to combine some aspects of the recording. This has allowed our total cost of recording to be reduced.
