Adam needs your support to carry on the fight, so that he can be there for his beautiful daughters and wife.
Auckland
Soon after celebrating his 40th birthday in 2012, Adam Kelliher was diagnosed with bowel cancer. This came as a massive shock to everyone who knows Adam as he has always been fit and healthy and very busy…fishing, mountain biking or boating with his family and friends at every opportunity.
Over the last three years, Adam has undergone many surgeries, radiation therapy and months of chemotherapy to treat this and the secondary cancer which was soon discovered in his liver. He has also made massive changes to his lifestyle including a strict diet, juice and vitamin regime to ensure he’s doing everything he possibly can to beat this disease. However there are still tough times ahead as he now faces additional health problems as he heads into another round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Adam’s positive attitude throughout his treatments has been inspirational and we are all looking forward to him making a full recovery – if anyone can do it, Adam can!
Adam has had lots of support from his gorgeous wife Trish and their two daughters Amber-Lee and Charlize, their families, their wide circle of friends, workmates and the local community in and around Buckland. In 2013 and 2015 a huge group of family, friends and supporters made up ‘Adam’s Army’ and took part in the Franklin Relay for Life events to support Adam on his journey.
The family are now facing huge financial pressure as this next round of treatment comes with a massive $30,000 price tag. They would so very much appreciate your support, so if you are able to help us out with a donation online they would really appreciate
