Kurt's Adventure to IRONMAN

I have been a spokesperson for CP and seen first-hand how the struggles of being perceived as different can affect you. I believe that there is no better sight than seeing people at a dance party, only being able to rock a limb or two, and still absolutely loving it. Every member of the Cerebral Palsy Society had taught me to break through the expectations that the world sets upon us.

I have always loved surpassing boundaries and pushing myself to unknown limits. This year, I have set a goal of competing in my first full Iron man. I have done a full marathon and 4 Olympic sized triathlons and now it’s the time for the next step.

In these unprecedented times especially, I think that the awareness and funds raised while I follow my goals will surely help the Cerebral Palsy Society do more of what they do and provide more resources to people like me to become the best versions of themselves. Through my actions, I want to share my approach with the youth that are differently abled. I want to be an inspiration for young people to follow their dreams and desires, hit the gas-pedal and live a life that’s not only rewarding but also fulfilling!
