Part #1 complete - Laptops donated to Tonga
28 September 2022Part #1 update: Back in March, Frazer walked 135km visiting 58 schools across Auckland over 24 hours, to raise funds for schoolchildren in Tonga.
We are delighted to be able to share with you that the funds raised have been used to purchase and ship 132 laptops & accessories over the last couple of months, providing schoolchildren with devices in order for them to continue their education.
Today, it was a huge privilege for us to hand over 100 of these to four high schools and Tonga Girl Guides at a ceremony hosted by Tailulu College. This was made possible of course by all of you who generously donated, and with the support of all our trustees, Saia Mataele of The Moana Trust, and Lord Fakafanua (Speaker of Parliament in Tonga). We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts 🙏🏼
Part #2 is to fund scholarships. This is ongoing.
