After Amanda’s successful weight loss she is now requiring surgery to remove the excess skin, which will help her self esteem & confidence.
Waikato
In December 2016 Amanda had been diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension. The doctors had advised that she would need to loose weight or ultimately go blind.
With two young children, she couldn’t possibly want them to grow up having to look after their blind mother. So being the proactive woman she is, she took action!
At a starting weight of 170.2kg she has managed to lose a staggering 91.4kg! And as of July 2018 she is now at a healthy weight of 78kg.
With pure will and determination she has lost over 200cm off of her body, but with the weight loss she has since gained excess skin which is unfortunately ruining her self esteem.
Original funding plans had fallen through and she has since come to her close friends unsure of what to do.
Amanda has always been the most helpful person when it comes to friends and family desperately in need, whether they needed a place to stay, food or clothing for their kids etc and doesn’t often expect anything in return.
We are hoping to raise 30k for her surgery. Amanda deserves to feel confident and happy in the new body she has worked so hard towards. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated <3
A friend of Amanda since 2011. Amanda has always been helpful when others lives get tough, offering food and accomodation to friends in need. And I have closely followed her weight loss journey from day 1.
To pay for skin removal surgery...
extended tummy tuck, leg lift, arm lift and breast lift.
If the 30k goal isn’t reached, she will use the money she has raised and will attempt to get other funding for her surgery
