A children's picture-fiction to promote our notable Kai Tak Sports Park, and to memorise our Hong Kong Stadium

Auckland

I’m a freelance writer based in New Zealand, originally from Hong Kong, and I need your support to bring my seventh book to life.

As a writer, I have been fortunate to publish a diverse body of work, including 3 novels, 2 musicals, and a reference book. In 2014, I graduated with a Master’s in Creative Writing from Auckland University of Technology. This new project marks a significant milestone in my journey as a writer and aims to share a piece of Hong Kong’s sports history with children and families around the world.

The Story

Kai Tak Sports Park, a landmark site that has hosted global events, making it an international sports hub.

Hong Kong Stadium, a venue rich in history, particularly known for hosting the Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Tournament. The South Stand holds countless memories for Hong Kong sports fans.

The story is designed for children and includes 30 pages with around 1,000 words and 30 beautiful illustrations by a talented artist.

The funds raised through this page will go towards:

Printing, marketing, and distribution of the book to ensure it reaches readers worldwide.

Digital eBook distribution.

By supporting this project, you are helping to bring this heartfelt tribute to Hong Kong’s iconic sports venues to life, sharing a piece of history and creating a meaningful resource for children and families alike.

Your support means everything to me. Whether it's a contribution or simply sharing the page, you’re helping me turn this dream into a reality.
