Listening to my music on Spotify? This is my Spotify Tip Jar (Amy Bowie)

Spotify recently launched a facility which enables artists to add a fundraising destination to their profile for themselves or for music related charities. It's called 'Artist Fundraising Pick', found at the top of an Artist's profile in Spotify. In Aotearoa New Zealand, only Givealittle is working with Spotify to provide this feature - hence this profile.

You may be aware that royalty payouts from Spotify can be very low for independent artists.

What will I do with the 'tips'?

I will use the 'tips' to assist me to make more music. Things I currently need include various pieces of musical equipment, software and technologies for recording and beyond. Your 'tip' will also benefit young singing and songwriting students in my private studio, in addition to improving my ability to earn more money as a voiceover artist. Like many musical people, I have multiple creative 'gigs' to make ends meet, and 2020 has been a hard one!
