  • I eat now!!

    Hello everyone!!

    I’m on day 5 of eating my dog food out of my bowl twice a day!

    My wound on my amputation line is almost healed!! Thank goodness cause I’m sick of mum changing it and cleaning it all the time.

    And yesterday I played with a toy for the first time in 5 weeks!! I got a bit excited though and lost my balance and gave myself a fright so then needed a 5 hour nap to recover!

    I made one of my funny noises today and made everyone laugh, mum thought I would never do it again and she was so happy!

    I have round 2 of chemo tomorrow and hopefully I won’t feel too sicky!!

    Thank you so so much for helping mum and dad pay for my vet bills ❤️❤️

    Wee man is doing really well, still not a huge appetite but I’m getting plenty of food into him by feeding him 3 or 4 times a day and trying everything I can think of haha baby food, corned beef, peanut butter mixed with cottage cheese, steak, chicken you name it 😅 he still won’t eat off a plate or bowl and it has to be hand fed but that’s okay!

    His wound on his stump has opened a little so we’re doing twice daily cleaning and dressing and also he’s on antibiotics so that should be fine!

    Overall he’s doing okay! ❤️

  • Insurance said no 😭

    Short story: we are only being given $5000 from insurance and our bills are at almost $17,000 🥺

    Long story:

    My wee boy started chemo today.

    2 years ago we went through this with our older boy Sammy and he’s still with us to this day ❤️

    Insurance covered $10k for Sammy because he broke his leg first, and then we started cancer treatment after realising why the leg broke.

    Because we found out about the cancer before Andrew’s leg broke, insurance will only give us 5k.

    Our bills are already just under $12k with 5 more rounds of chemo to go at $1100+ each.

    So we’re just reaching out to see if anyone can help us in anyway towards our vet bills via our givealittle, or any other way whether that be sharing or advice ❤️

    I can’t thank you enough to everyone that’s already helped us, 🥺🥹❤️

  • He's Home!!!

    our wee guy is home!!! 🥹 he's been eating and drinking heaps! going up and down steps on his own to go potty! and last night he had a full night's sleep!! 🥹❤️ his bruising is improving too thank goodness!!

  • Still in after hours ❤️

    Our wee princess boy is doing okay, he’s still in the after hours because he won’t eat and his protein levels are quite low. They’re also worried about his bruising and fluid. We have just visited him though and he took 5 pieces of dog roll from me and had a wee nap on my lap ❤️❤️

    Thank you all so much again for your help!! We have almost used up all of our pet insurance pay out and have yet to pay out for chemo so you guys are helping so much 🥹❤️❤️❤️

    Thank you so much for all of your donations we are so overwhelmed with love 🥹🥺❤️

    We managed to get his pain under control today and he had lots of good sleep! Hopefully tomorrow is another good day ❤️
