Sometimes we have dogs come through our doors who are in a severely neglected state for many reasons.

Where we can help, we do, and at times we will take on foster dogs while we find them new forever homes and tend to their health needs

We had 3 such animals in this week where the owner had become ill too and the dogs had fallen into hard times. The little one in the photo is a white dog - but this is the only photo I can show as the others are too heartbreaking.

The owners have agreed to sign over them to us to help find them amazing homes (which we have) and we are now arranging to take care of their health needs.

If we raise more than we need (which is unlikely as it could be anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000) we with either put it towards the next one that comes our way or help out with another needy case.
