Help bring Angela home for the Holidays

Before you ask, I know I have a cheek asking this. Christmas is a funny time of year, wherever you are in the world and it can be a very lonely one if you are without friends or family in a foreign country. I work as a volcanologist for a university so all my friends are students and they are, of course, scattering to the four wind these holidays meaning I am looking at a pizza for one and a Scrubs marathon on Christmas Day. But i can hear you. Don't you live in Italy? What's wrong with you? I've lived here for quite a while so the shine of being in a foreign city for xmas has well and truly worn off. Especially in Naples where there is no snow, it is just cold and wet and very lonely.

If you've been following me on Facebook, you know this has been a pretty difficult year for me and my family since I left NZ to go back to work in Italy. I'd really like to come home and have some family time this year and be able to spend a holiday period with my family, which I haven't done in..... I don't even remember when! My parents of course said they will help me out but I am maxing out my plastic to do it. It is going to cost ~$3000 for a ticket but I am looking for any contribution to help make that easier.

If you have a bit of spare cash, which I know is rare at this time of year, I would be so grateful for any contribution. There is no small donation. Every dollar I receive will go towards paying off this ticket and I obviously, don't expect to pay it all off, as I say, it'd be a lovely contribution and Xmas gift. I'd love to come home and see everyone, I'll bring some italian yummys! For my foreign friends, if you've ever been alone during the holidays, you know what it is like. Save me from pizza for one and absolutely no Christmas cheer these holidays. :)
