Who We Are 🐾

Animal Fostering Hub NZ is a self funded nationwide rescue support hub based in Palmerston North. We provide free specialised foster support to rescues across New Zealand, while also taking on high-needs cases from communities and partner organisations.

🐾We work alongside rescues, housing providers, councils, police, and veterinary teams nationwide—often on complex and high-risk cases.

🐾We also provide foster homes for pets of those deployed overseas, because no one should have to give up their best friend to serve their country.

🐾Our work is supported by a dedicated network of incredible foster homes, behavioural trainers, and veterinary professionals.

What We Do 💔➡️❤️

We specialise in cases many can’t, due to inexperience, cost or time - severe medical conditions like parvo, ICH, coccidia and neurological as well as intensive trauma and behavioural rehabilitation.

🐾We are also one of the very few rescues in New Zealand successfully rehabilitating and rehoming true feral dogs.

🐾We support our local community with free food, flea/worm treatments, microchipping, and—when funding allows—medical care and desexing.
