Medical DTS YWAM- Help Annabel GO!

Hello! At the end of January I will be heading off to start a 5 month DTS course. I will be living in Tauraunga NZ.

For the first 3 months I will be living in Tauraunga for my ‘lecture phase’ of 3 months learning basic medical skills and also evangelical skills as well. I will also be going deeper into God’s word and learning more about him and deepening my relationship with Jesus.

I will then be heading out on my ‘outreach’ phase of 2 months where I will help bring medical care to those who need it in a developing country.

The team I am in could be involved in dental, optical, primary healthcare and/or trauma care. I may get the chance to work with children in the Philippines or serving with other medical ministries in South East Asia or the Pacific Islands.

Depending on where I am placed I could also end up living aboard the M/V Pacific Hope ship for my entire 5 months. Where we will sail to Vanuatu and use the ship to hold medical clinics.

This is where I want to be placed the most but I am praying that the Lord will place me where HE wants me to be and where HE thinks I will be most effective.

The $3000 I am trying to raise will be going directly towards my outreach phase to cover cost of travel and food/accomodation whilst I am there. All support is greatly appreciated, whether large or small. Every little bit helps!

More than anything though I am needing prayer support. It is not going to be easy and I would greatly appreciate your prayers for safety, strength (emotional and physical) as well as an open heart to be ready to do and go wherever God may lead!
