    Thank you all for the incredible support and kindness shown to date.

    We are writing to share the livestream link for Ashleigh’s memorial service, and to make a final call for RSVPs for those planning to attend in person.

    The livestream will go live at 12.45pm on Friday 16 January, with the service beginning at 1pm:

  • Memorial service - please RSVP

    The family wish to share the invite to Ashleigh's memorial service, which will be held on Friday 16th January 2026 at 1pm.

    Location: Dunsandel Community Centre

    Date: 16th January 2026

    Time: 1pm

    Due to the overwhelming support received from members of the community, friends and colleagues, we are uncertain how many people will attend. While all are welcome, we simply request that you RSVP to the Facebook Event if attending in person.

  • Update - Ashleigh Jane Streb (née Fechney) Memorial date set: Friday 16th January

    We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the outpouring of messages of condolence, love, and support. With over 500 messages received across various platforms, it has been overwhelming and deeply heartfelt to see how many lives Ashleigh touched and the positive influence she had in her short time.

    We would also like to sincerely thank those who have already contributed to the Givealittle page, as well as everyone who has offered support in so many different ways. The kindness, generosity, and care shown has been deeply felt and truly appreciated.

    As per Ashleigh’s wishes, she will be cremated in Lithuania on Thursday 8th January. Andy and his parents will then begin the long journey to Christchurch on Friday 9th January, arriving on Sunday, along with Ashleigh’s ashes.

    A service for Ashleigh will be held as follows:

    Date: Friday 16 January

    Time: 1.00 pm

    Location: Dunsandel Community Centre, 1456 Tramway Road, Dunsandel
