Hi there, I found Callans story very close to home as I could have easily been in the same place after being diagnosed after an emergency trip to hospital with an auto immune disorder, chronic Sarcoidosis in 2007. I have been given the all clear earlier this year with no scarring on my lungs liver or spleen. The treatment program I used may help Callam, I have spoken to my practitioner who will give a discount as a donation and I would be willing to help fund his treatment as well, I have no financial interest in the clinic, I'm just a very grateful ex-patient who would like to see someone else given the best chance possible of a cure. Hi, If Callan would like to email me, I go from Paparoa to Waiuku once a week, usually on a Tuesday to visit a friend of mine in a rest home. I would be happy to go via kaipara flats and drop her off to visit. I'd be able to pick her up approx. 3 hrs later on my back and drop her home.

I am Callans Aunty and I live in Auckland, and will be visiting him tonight. Due to circumstances beyond my control recently, I have been unable to see Callan over the last 12 months, however I live close to the retirement Village he is in, and will be spending as much time with him as I possibly can from now on.
To Brenda, yes Callan does have a mother who lives an hour and a half away and yes she does have a property there, but she is only on a old age pension and doesn't have the means on hand to visit often. I dont think you should make such comments without knowing the full picture.

Hello :) just out of curiosity does Callan allow people to visit him? I was quite sad reading he doesn’t get much visitors or have any family apart from Ray :/ thought it would be nice to pay him a visit with a few friends. Definitely moved by his story, all the best Callan 💗

Thank you for your kind offer to visit Callan. I will be visiting Callan tonight (Tuesday) and will see how he feels about receiving visitors that he doesn't know. The rest home may have some limitations around visiting so I will find this out also and advise.
