Old Couple Loses Everything in Devastating Fire - Urgent Help Needed!

We sincerely seek your support to help Mr. Li, 70 years old, and Mrs. Zhu, 68 years old, who have tragically lost everything in a devastating fire. Their home, belongings, and even the car in their garage were completely destroyed.

Incident Overview

On July 1, 2024, at 2:30 AM, Mr. Li and Mrs. Zhu’s home in East Auckland caught fire. The blaze destroyed their house and the car in their garage. Unfortunately, due to a failed payment, their insurance was cancelled, leaving them to face an estimated repair or rebuilding cost of over NZD 400,000-600,000.

Preliminary investigations by the police and fire department suggest that the fire may have been an act of arson. Following the fire, the property was briefly sealed off by the police, preventing the homeowners from salvaging their remaining belongings. During this period, the house was looted, with thieves stealing all valuables and vandalizing items they couldn’t take.

Appeal for Help

Mr. Li and Mrs. Zhu, both elderly and without insurance coverage, are in desperate need of financial assistance to rebuild their home and lives. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping them recover from this tragedy.

Thank you for your generosity and support.
