I'm Athena Li from Auckland New Zealand, and I had the incredible opportunity to display my remarkable skill and determination at the Junior World Championships in Cluj-Napoca, where young athletes from all over the world gathered for an unforgettable competition. As a gymnast representing New Zealand, I felt a sense of pride and responsibility to make my country proud.

The championships took place at the magnificent BT Arena, which added to the enchanting theme of "magic" surrounding the event. It was truly a captivating experience to witness a magician performing on the same stage.

During my week-long stay in Romania, I had the opportunity to explore the country's stunning views and historical landmarks, making it an enriching experience that broadened my horizons.

Undoubtedly, the journey was not without its challenges, but the unwavering support of my coaches, family, and friends provided me with much-needed comfort and motivation. I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to those who stood by me throughout this journey.

As the championships came to an end, I felt an immense sense of pride in how far I had come and in representing New Zealand on the global stage. Leaving Cluj-Napoca, I carried with me unforgettable memories and a profound sense of accomplishment.

Looking ahead, the future looks bright for my gymnastic career, and I am excited to continue working hard and achieving success in the world of gymnastics.

Exciting news! Athena and her NZ team are embarking on a journey to Varna to prepare for the Burgas rhythmic gymnastic National championship. This is a significant opportunity for them to showcase their skills and compete at a national level.

Arriving in Varna, they will have a few days of training to fine-tune their routines and adapt to the competition environment. It's a crucial period for them to focus on perfecting their techniques and synchronizing their movements.

On the 28th of June, they will make their way to Burgas for the highly anticipated national championship. This event will serve as a platform for Athena and her team to demonstrate their hard work and dedication, competing against other talented gymnasts.

Furthermore, the journey doesn't end there! Following the national championship, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior Worlds Championship awaits them. This international competition will provide an even greater opportunity for Athena and her team to showcase their skills on a global stage.

As they embark on this thrilling adventure, I extend my best wishes to Athena and her NZ team. May they have a safe and enjoyable trip filled with wonderful experiences and memories.
