Auckland University Robotics Association heads off to represent NZ at the VEX Robotics World Championships!

Auckland University Robotics Association, AURA, is a student-led, multidisciplinary club of talented students aiming to compete in the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri this April 25-27th.
AURA has a history of strong performances at both national and international VEX competitions. In 2017, AURA brought home the World Tournament Championship. This year, we have won the Excellence Award, 2nd Place in Skills and Tournament Finalists in the NZ National Championship. We are aiming to bring home the Championship Robot Skills trophy.
We need your help. Your support will cover competition fees and travel costs.

The AURA VEX U team consists of 6 university students from the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology. Ahil (team captain), Alister (programming), Coco (drive team), Daisy (coach & outreach), Damon (building), Shaun (coach). We are alumi from Lynfield College, Mt Roskill Grammar, Onehunga College and KingsWay School.
In addition, we are an active student organization at UoA. AURA provides the bulk of the volunteering force behind the extremely successful high school VEX competitions in New Zealand. AURA also hosts robotics workshop events at the University of Auckland.

Use of funds
The donations we receive will be used for registration competition fee, travel expenses and accommodation. Every contribution counts! Even if we do not reach our goal, we will add our own funds to the received donations to participate at the Championships.
