There's never been a fire season like it. Please help Mahurangi Bushfire Aid and Warkworth Lions raise funds to assist our Aussie mates.

Across the ditch, Australia is burning. There's never been a fire season like it. Half a billion animals have perished, thousands of acres have burned, and hundreds have lost their homes and incomes. 24 have, to date. tragically lost their lives.

Warkworth Lions and the Mahurangi Bushfire Aid community group are fundraising to help our Aussie mates. Our aim is to raise funds from kiwis to donate to our friends across the Tasman. Any amount, large or small, is greatly appreciated.

As well as this Givealittle page, we will also be fundraising at the Matakana Markets and other Mahuragi locations in the coming weeks - please look out for our volunteers.

All proceeds will be distributed by Warkworth Lions to Lions Australia who will, in turn, distribute to organisations helping those impacted by the bushfires, as well as those helping save Australian wildlife.

Summer has only just begun. They need all the help they can get. Thank you.

Warkworth Lions plays a significant role in the Mahurangi Region, assisting with fundraising and providing support to community initiatives. Lions have teamed up with the Mahurangi Bushfire Aid community group to combine fundraising efforts.

Use of funds

Warkworth Lions Charitable Trust will distribute funds raised to LCIF New Zealand (Lions Clubs International Foundation) to LCIF Australia who will look after distribution in Australia.
