    Hi all

Its bin a while since checking in

Ive bin home for two weeks now and its been up and down to say the least with all my injures.im still on crutches, hard to eat ect. Awa and i are alive and thats what matters.

Ive bin managing to feed awa day and night spend time with her snd even some short walks on the lead.

So yesterday awa went back to auckland to the surges to have xrays And a check up and all is going perfect for her healing.

At this stage now she can have long walks on lead and we need to keep it slow so she uses her leg properly.also walking threw shallow water is good too.

I wont be able to take her but a family member will 😊

Lots of love and forever greatfull thank you 💓 from us.

    Heya all my loving supporters.

    What a jounry this is...

Very cool news is ive bin home since monday avo ive had bad stomach achs since being home and they just settiling down today.and its bin hard to say the least things just feel so different its super hard to adjust after being nearly dead just over 4 weeks ago then batteling on to were im at now.

Im supergreatfull to say the least but more in disbeliefe.(hard to explain) PTSD.

so awa is beautyfull as always but too strong for me rightnow from how we used to play she cant understand that now so lots and lots of talking to her on aproach and when handeling because she could hurt me real easy she is still only aloud 10min walks a day..

At first she completly barked at me like i was a ghost very lost even as i spoke to her but she came round in the end and the conection was instant Dads home ❤❤❤ her barks tunrned to joy barks and kisses for days.im so happy everyons support has helped me keep Awa my baby and im still here to be with her today.

For me now is rest and mend some short walks and hip stretches rest and repeat. Im on crutches still. And eating still quite hard. But ill work hard as i can and when the body alows.

    Much love and continuious thanks

    AWA and ME ❤🐶

😥 i know how she feels 😅 shes just full of life.shes a big breed and very strong and clever.

So quite the hand full at only 8 months.mum will be bringing her to the hospital to see me this week 💓💓💓

    Hi all.up date on things.

I was moved back to whangarei hospital last wednesday and fell sick when i got here.

My right lung was puncherd and broken ribs in the crash. Just a small thing to my list of injurys.

But muy right lung started to deflate in 1 area and i was building fluid between my lung and diaphram.they had to put a drain in witch is super sore but doing the job getting out the fluid😥.im feeln better now drain still in but having to take more meds wutch slows me down.

Im in no rush tho just feel weak and sore.ive started to be able to catch up with my mates again they were my first responce angels that keeped me awake for 3 hours, not knowing i was bleeding internaly while we were waiting for the helicopter.

Hi to all our loving helpers another quick check in.

Awa is doing super well, shes getting up fine now and starting to put safe amounts of weight on her right leg.

Any time shes let out i stay with her for thoes 3-5 mins toilet time, bit of a stretch and sniff round then back to rest.

She has a 2m by 2m bed area were she stays 95% of her days and nights.shes a pup and its not too easy to keep her from over exiting. but if i say be calm she under stands enuff.she loves her meds. 😅 pain killers please.
