RUGBY101 KIWI WARRIOR is a New Zealand-born sport from Taupō, built on the belief that every person carries a warrior within. Our mission is to provide a safe, exciting, and inclusive pathway where players grow confidence, skill, fitness, and resilience.

RUGBY101 is a high-intensity one-on-one rugby code combining Rugby Union, Rugby League, and athletic competition into a structured, point-scoring game. Players compete over timed rounds testing strategy, stamina, skill, and resilience — earning points through tries and conversions, not just physical dominance. Success requires tactical thinking, fitness, discipline, and heart. Each competitor proves themselves as a Warrior.

Many Kiwi kids first play rugby in backyards or parks. Rugby101 turns that natural competition into a safe, structured environment, welcoming tamariki, rangatahi, and pakeke to develop skills, confidence, and athleticism. Divisions are based on age, weight, and experience, with pathways from junior to adult and community tournaments that build players who can thrive in any code while supporting existing clubs.
