Azaria and her journey to Starship

Azaria was born prematurely and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her parents were informed that little Azaria was born with a serious heart condition that would require surgery in the future. Azaria battled her way through her stay in the neonatal unit in wellington and at first was doing as good as can be expected. (She is a little fighter)

Unfortunately Azarias heart condition has deteriorated and on very short notice has been flown to star ship hospital in Auckland.

There is now i fine balance being worked out between preforming open heart surgery and allowing Azaria to grow strength. This however means her parents Lisa and Bevan are currently in a hotel in Auckland, having to cover cost of Accomodation (Ronald McDonald house is closed during lockdown), pay for travel to and from the hospital and meals indefinitely until her surgery.

Her parents would be no place else but by their daughters side however the financial impact is starting to hit home.

We as a family would like to relieve this pressure and allow Azaria and her parents to focus on getting through this.

We understand covid-19 has impacted so many people in New Zealand and many may not be able to assist and it is a difficult time to be asking for any donations. Azaria and parents would like you all to know any donation would be greatly appreciated and if you are unable to donate, your positive thoughts for our little girl are just as special.
