    On Friday is Laylah and Harper's kindys "wheel-a-thon" 🚗🚜🏍 you can sponsor them as they race around the cul-de-sac with there buddies 😃👦👶👧 on there decorated bikes, scooters, prams. AND our amazing other family Chuckles Childcare Hastings have kindly said we can put on our first sausage sizzle 🌭 so if you can come along and support everyone in this awesome event would be fantastic!!!

  • Treatment has begun

    Harper began her daily injection last week and naturally it's been extremely stressful.

    The family are out patients at Hastings Hospital so they travel from Waipuk each morning to give the treatment. Mum, Toyah has been giving it to Harper the last few days and once she is 100% confident they can give it at home. It is a very painful injection and difficult to do on a wiggly little one.

    The photo is of Harper and Korina, one of the many beautiful people helping in this journey.

    In a few weeks the family have various specialist appointments at Starship Hospital and yesterday they were given a car to get them there! It's an oldie but is a lot more reliable than their current vehicle.

    Thank you so very much for the outstanding kindness we have had.

    The quest is to still get a vehicle that will handle the long trips from Central Hawkes Bay to Auckland with the family and specialist equipment that Harper needs.

  • Appointments, vehicles and hospital stay

    Harper and Toyah have been admitted into Hastings hospital today and might have a two week stay while they start the medication and monitor her reactions. Then they go up to Starship. Their car is just about dead so the situation for a new vehicle is now desperate. Every trip they do is absolutely stressful wondering whether they will break down on the side of the road. Thanking everyone for all donations so far.
