We are looking to help Hannah and Phil out financially while their little girl is born in Auckland and undergoes surgery.
Canterbury
Dear whanau and friends. As many of you may know baby Girl Doherty has some serious heart troubles and needs to be closely monitored. The specialist orders are that Hannah and Phil (who are now in Christchurch) be up in Auckland for the birth of their little girl so they can have the best teams working on her. She needs to have surgery straight after her birth and will have a lengthy recovery period. Doctors have ordered Hannah to be up in Auckland from around 36 weeks aprox and her and Phil and their wee girl could be there for 2months or possibly more. So we are looking at taking a bit of a financial burden off their shoulders and helping them afford their living costs. Any donations will help and they truely thank you for your love and support.
My husband Courtney has been friends with Hannah for a very long time and I (Jocee) had the pleasure of meeting Hannah almost 7 years ago now. Along the road we met Phil the handsome and funny Irishman. These two are some of the most loving and supportive people we know and I know if we were in their shoes they would be bending over backwards to help us out. We wish them the world of happiness and hope their little girl gets through the birth and surgery with the best results.
Update from Hannah and Phil 30 January 2016
Our wee girl Saoirse was born on the 20th January. She had major heart surgery on Monday 25th at just 5 days old. She is recovering in intensive care and progressing well at this stage.
We would like to thank you all for your generosity, prayers and kind messages of support. It means so much to us. We will keep you updated on how she is doing.
Lots of love Phil and Hannah xx
