Back Operation

My partner is studying and working for a better future, and I am currently a stay at home father of 4 children from 7-13 years, 1 girl and 3 boys. I would like to get my back fixed, but we currently are not in a position to afford the surgery right now. I love working but I can't even mow the lawn without being in agony for 3 days after. My injury has been classed as 'back degeneration' so am not covered by ACC , but initially was an injury at a steel factory. I do not have any private insurance. I really would like to get my back fixed so I can return to the working force and help provide for my family. Having my back fixed would also mean I no longer am in pain, and I can be more involved in activities with my children.
