"Bags of Love" for Christmas Cheer for Vulnerable Older People

Help us spread some love this Christmas. Its a difficult time for someone alone. Our elders shouldn't be forgotten. Show you care too.
Life in lockdown is hard – especially for older people who are vulnerable, disabled and living alone.
Imagine not having anyone to share with at Christmas. These older people have not been able to meet up with their friends for 4 months. Can you help us to bring them some Christmas cheer and share some love with them? Every little bit helps.
Communicare is preparing 500 special “Christmas Bags of Love” that contain traditional festive treats, small gifts, some puzzles to relieve the boredom, to show our members that someone cares.
We need your help to raise the funds needed to fill and distribute "Christmas Bags of Love" to vulnerable elders, across West, East, Central and South Auckland.
About us
1959 Communicare was established to support civilians who were maimed in the war to come and meet others. Now we remain strong as we continue to support seniors and disabled people, as they come together for friendship and support.
Use of funds
Filling "Bags of Love" with Festive goodies and small gifts along with puzzles to entertain the recipients. Travel expenses for staff and volunteers who are distributing the "Bags of Love"
